Mille offers different intensive courses about Spanish music history and culture. The courses are meant for both students of classical guitar as well as for people with general interest in the subject. Read more about the individual courses below. It is suggested that you look for scholarships to finance your course. During the course in Granada and Andalacia it is possible to charge guitar lessons from Mille.

Summer School for Guitarists

An intensive course given in the second week of July 2010. The course is available to guitar students at conservatories, MGK and academies. Guitarists who wants to know more about Spanish music or flamenco guitarists who wants to challenge themselves into the  Spanish classical music. The daily program consists of master-classes in Spanish music, guitar-orchestra (performing Spanish music), conferences about flamenco as well as visits to interesting places relevant for guitarists. Cultural week in Andalucía

An intensive course given in the third week of july 2010 ment for musicologists, music teachers, students, artists, poets, musicians or just anybody who needs inspiration. You don't need to have musical knowledge to participate in this course.

This course will explore the andalusian heritage from the arabic period in arquitecture, music, dance and flamencology. You will be accompained all week by Mille as a cultural guide and story teller in topics: Al Andalus: music, food, arquitecture, arabic baths, society, and the legends Zyriab and El Mussoli. Arquitecture about maurish palaces, mudejar style, caves, patios and carmens. Flamenco history and evolution, peñas, tabalos and zambras. Winemaking, buleria and white horses in Jerez. Writers like HC Andersen, Washington Irving and Lorca. Sevilla and Triana and its importance to flamenco. We will explore the andalusian culture from all aspects in life visiting monuments, palaces, mountains, peñas and tablaos, mountains and much much more.

Get Mille to your conservatory/ music academy

Mille also offers a one-day course for the guitar department at conservatories or music academies.

The course consists in conference about flamencology, workshop with guitar orquestra  or masterclass  in spanish music and at the end: solo concert.

Mille performs a spanish programme of classical spanish music mixed with flamenco : Turina, Falla, Rodrigo, Albeniz, Pujol, Paco de Lucia, Juan de la Roca, Sabicas etc.
